This is a painting that I had did in the span of 3 days of countless hours. This was a last minute painting that I really just wanted to go abstract with. No true intention, just looseness. At the time I was heavily inspired by Jean Michel Basquiats work and wanted to incorporate a similar style with my portrait. This was my first showcase in a gallery at Murray State.
3 days 3 nights.
Cheekwood (Nashville TN) exhibition
While making this painting, I submitted this into Cheekwood in Nashville and got this submitted! This was a unique experience for artists in west and middle Tennessee (Black Arts Bash).
